Tenant Criminal Background Check
Before you let someone move into your property, you want to do a background check. Why? Because sometimes you got squatters who go late on rent; sometimes you have drug addicts and just plain crazy people.
The first thing you should conduct is asking for previous land lords; call them up and ask about the tenants. Did they have any problems with them? Were the rents late? What kind of apartment/house/place did the tenant rent prior to going to your property?
Those are the questions you should ask yourself before accepting the tenant.
