It is one of the biggest people search database on the Internet and has been in service for over 6 years.

You can conduct a background search virtually on anyone in USA -- except for famous celebrities, sensitive government employees that work for the FBI/CIA etc.

We have used other background search database, but government records tool seems to have the largest database of records.

Pros:

It's inexpensive compared to hiring a private investigator: To contduct a background search on the person, you have to join them as a member. It's around $30 for a 1 year fee, and $40 for a 2 year fee.


We found that we can conduct a search immediately after joining (which takes 5 seconds).
This online background check tool is good for doing cell phone trace, or doing a general background check on the tenant, employee, or nanny.

When you become a member, you can conduct as many searches as you want -- there are no limits, apparenty.

Cons:

Most of the researches at USA based -- so you're going to have a hard time if you're in the UK, Canada or else where.
If you're researching for current, live famous celebrities you may not find them in the record.
